ビュッヒの最新製品 -カプセル化装置 B-390とB-390Pro - は医薬品や食品の多くの化合物の活性を固定化する新しい装置です。
B-390/395Proでは、0.15 mm~2 mmの範囲で任意のサイズのカプセル球を製作可能です。最大6,000カプセル/秒の高い生産性と高い再現率、カプセル球径のバラツキが少ない事などが特長です。(5%未満の標準偏差)
Uniform capsules and beads are produced with the same technology. Their size is pre-selectable in the range of 0.15 mm to 2 mm with a spherical shape and narrow size distribution (< 5% standard deviation is possible) and a productivity of up to 6'000 beads per second.
The Encapsulator B-390 and B-395 Pro use the same unique technology, which is based on the principle that a laminar flowing liquid jet breaks up into equally sized droplets by superimposed vibration. The selectable vibration frequency determines the quantity of droplets produced; for example, 1'000 droplets are generated per second at 1'000 Hz. The droplet chain is electrostatically charged causing the droplets to repel each other, thus eliminating coalescence. The droplets fall into a hardening solution where the beads are polymerized quickly or in a cooling chamber where the beads solidify.
The Encapsulator B-390 is an open system for easy access to microencapsulation.
The basic features for high-quality bead production are integrated such as an electrostatic dispersion unit and a stroboscopic lamp for immediate process control.
Parameters are set on touch screen. Delivery of the polymer mixture is done by air pressure. Heating of the nozzle up to 70°C allows the use of polymers at melting temperatures above room temperature.
An optional concentric nozzle system enables simultaneous shell and liquid core capsule production.
The Encapsulator B-395 Pro enables bioencapsulation under sterile working conditions.
An autoclavable reaction vessel allows controlled sterile working conditions on the bench.
Sample pumping is facilitated by an integrated syringe pump that can be calibrated and provides throughputs from 0.01 to 50 ml/min with a dead volume of approximately 0.5 ml.
